License
ShipVoice comes in two layers. The plain-English version is below. The full license text is included with your purchase.
The open-source core is MIT
ShipVoice is built on livekit-starter, an open-source LiveKit voice core released under the MIT license. That part is free. You can read it, fork it, and ship it under the terms of the MIT license, with or without ShipVoice.
ShipVoice is a single-developer commercial license
ShipVoice (the paid boilerplate: per-minute Stripe metered billing, auth, the call dashboard, telephony, templates, and deploy) is licensed to one developer. Founding access is a one-time purchase that includes lifetime updates, at the $199 founding price for the first 50 buyers (then $299 at launch), fully refundable until launch.
You can
- + Build and ship unlimited products that you own.
- + Bill your own users through your own Stripe account and keep the margin.
- + Modify the code freely, privately, for as long as you like.
- + Use it to deliver client work, as long as the deliverable is the product, not the ShipVoice source itself.
You cannot
- - Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the ShipVoice source as a boilerplate, template, or competing starter.
- - Publish the ShipVoice source publicly or share it with developers who do not hold a license.
- - Share a single license across a team. Each developer needs their own.
Lifetime updates
Your purchase includes every future update to ShipVoice at no extra cost. Your price and your access are locked at the time you buy.
Refunds
Founding access is fully refundable any time before launch. After launch, if ShipVoice is not right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days for a full refund.
This page is a plain-English summary, not the full agreement. Questions about licensing go to [email protected]. See also the Terms and Privacy policy.
